Blink-182 Ranked

Pop Punk has been my musical love since the year 2001 when I heard the song Seasons by Good Charlotte. I had known about Blink-182, but while I enjoyed All The Small Things I was a little wrapped up in 90s pop rock and alternative and so didn't pay too much mind. I'm not sure why Good Charlotte was the band that kicked it off, but since then I've gone headfirst into the genre and haven't returned. Blink is one of my favorite bands now, and while my tastes don't always align with the general consensus I still am a big fan. Through two lineup changes, theyv'e stayed releasing quality tracks even despite the departure of Tom.

Album Ranking:
9. Buddha
8. Cheshire Cat
7. Nine
6. Dude Ranch
5. Neighborhoods
4. Take Off Your Pants and Jacket
3. California
2. Enema of the State
1. Untitled

Song Rankings:
5. Wendy Clear
4. Bored to Death
3. Ghost on the Dance Floor
2. Obvious
1. Feeling This

Best Starting Point:
Enema of the State is the best launching point for this band. It's a classic, kicking off with the fantastic Dumpweed riff and leading from banger to banger. While still showcasing the sense of humor in the band, it shows some maturity with tracks like Adam's Song. It showcases a good split between Tom and Mark's styles, with them sharing the microphone in almost equal measure. Overall, it's a great demonstration of everything that makes them a great band.

Led Zeppelin Ranked

Led Zeppelin is a band I ignored for a long time. Stairway to Heaven was overplayed and honestly never something that caught my interest when I was growing up. As I got older and started to appreciate classic rock more, I still never gave them too much of a shot, until one day I gave Led Zeppelin II a solid listen and was blown away. They were much more bluesy than I anticipated, and the licks and riffs that Jimmy Page played was fantastic. They're still a band I have to be in the mood to listen to, but when I do I love every second. Their later albums fall off, but I still enjoyed all of them to some degree and always found something to love.

Discography Ranked:
9: In Through the Out Door
8. Coda
7. Presence
6. Physical Graffiti
5. Led Zeppelin III
4. Houses of the Holy
3. Led Zeppelin II
2. Led Zeppelin I
1. Led Zeppelin IV

Top Songs:
5. Immigrant Song
4. Kashmir
3. Ramble On
2. Black Dog
1. Over the Hills and Far Away

Best Starting Point:
Led Zeppelin IV. It has a great mix of everything - while Stairway to Heaven is still overplayed, it truly is a great song. Black Dog starts off with great hard rock riffs, and Misty Mountain Hop veers almost into a pop rock territory. It's a culmination of music and the best they've put out, while being more polished than a lot of their other work. Highly recommend!
